Lissy Varghese, born with Muscular Dystrophy, faced significant challenges in her early life. She joined Mercy Home when it became difficult for her to continue attending school. With determination and the support of Mercy Home, Lissy completed her education and pursued a course in Civil Draughtsmanship. Today, she works as an Overseer at Manarkad Panchayat and has also been offered the position of Work Superintendent in the Soil Survey and Soil Conservation Department in Alappuzha.
