Lathamol Gopi became paralyzed from the waist down after contracting polio at the age of
one and a half. She joined Mercy Home, where she completed her education at Parel School
and St. Anne’s School, winning the Kavukattu Father’s Award and a scholarship in 4th grade.
She later pursued vocational training in Thiruvananthapuram and completed computer, Tally,
and accounting courses at Media Village. Latha now works as an accountant at Mercy Home.
With encouragement from dance teacher Rosamma, she continues to perform and win prizes
in dance competitions. Her inspiring journey was featured in a YouTube video titled "The
Strength of a Woman of Hope," which earned her two awards.
