Jessy Kuriakose arrived at Mercy Home at the age of five, having suffered from polio that left
her legs crippled. Despite medical advice that walking would be difficult, Sr. Mariella
performed successful surgery and provided therapy that enabled Jessy to walk with a caliper.
Jessy completed her education and later earned a degree from NSS College,
Changanassery. She now works as a Senior Auditor in government service, proving that
determination and care can lead to incredible achievements.
